Brent Brewer, CFA

Born and raised in a rural part of Indiana, Brent was the first in his extended family to attend college, graduating from Indiana University – Bloomington campus, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Finance. After college, Brent worked for several life insurance companies, providing institutional investment advice and recommendations for approximately 15 years. Recognizing the risks that many mainstream investment strategies expose their clients to and declining an offer to work for a well-known insurance giant that later required government bailout funding to remain solvent, Brent left the world of Finance in the aftermath of the 2008 market meltdown.

Until 2016, Brent was an instrumental part of building a small start-up in the high quality, high welfare egg production space into a national brand. However, the duty to protect savers from the uncertainties of Wall Street and fiscal recklessness required a return to Finance. Having been exposed to the value of precious metals and coin collecting at a very young age, Brent studied the history and longevity of gold and silver as true money, offering an undeniable store of wealth, over centuries. More recently, the astonishing amounts of gold being acquired by the governments of the largest countries in the world, including both Russia and China, confirmed the thesis that precious metals would continue being a critical part of wealth preservation in the years to come. These fascinating facts led Brent to his involvement in the creation of Legacy Gold & Silver.
